About us

Ty Blodau is the name of the family business which I run from my home, near Caernarfon, North Wales. As this is a family business, you are quite likely to have your call answered by one of my very helpful secretaries (aka daughters and husband!) As the business is home based, it also means we can offer more flexible collection times than usual shop hours.

How can we help you?

As well as the designs and options on the following pages, we love listening to your individual requests and working towards turning your ideas into reality, so please feel free to contact us with any more unusual requests. We're always up for a challenge!

Funeral Sprays / Trefniant Angladd

A little about me! While I still think I'm in my 20's(!!), in reality I have over 25 years floristry experience! My passion for flowers started as a child and I continued to pursue my dream of being a florist, by attending "The Welsh College of Horticulture" to complete a NCF floristry course, and later on completing my I.C.S.F.. I worked for quite a few years in an amazing florist business in Mid-Wales, before getting married and moving to North Wales.

"Ty Blodau" is based at my home in Caeathro, Caernarfon, making full use of the old stable which has now been converted into a workshop where I can make lots of mess and enjoy being creative!

Environmental impact

We love to work with nature, and are always looking for practical ways to make our work more environmentally friendly, while still giving you, our customers a high quality, design choice. Over the last year, we have reduced our cellophane usage by half, are using biodegradable floral foam when available and have a hybrid car that we use for some of our deliveries! In our pages, we also have specific "Eco" designs, that use no foam or cellophane and are made using only reusable, recyclable or compostable materials. Keep an eye out for the logo!
